The NSW State Emergency Service (SES) uses the GRN in all areas where its footprint reaches for communications between vehicles and unit headquarters. In country areas where the GRN footprint does not reach, conventional UHF PMR frequencies are used. Communication between emergency volunteers at a site usually occur on the UHF PMR simplex frequencies (SIMPSH#). UHF CB may also be used for site communications.
This purpose of this webpage is to supply information (frequencies and talkgroups) of the emergency services in NSW, such as the NSW Police Force,
NSW Fire Brigades, NSW Rural Fire Service, NSW State Emergency Service and Ambulance Service of NSW. While information on other
radio users will be available, this information cannot be guaranteed. All information was obtained from public sources.
